Abstract:
The aim of this study is to examines the effects of five dimensions of corporate entrepreneurship; innovation, risk taking, pro-activeness, competitive aggressiveness and autonomy on perceived organizational performance in case of Wuxi Jinmao and Phillips-van Heusen (JP) textile industry in industry park. The study adopted explanatory research design with quantitative method. The total population for the study were 698 employees, among them the researcher selects 254 employees as a sample and questioners with 5-point Likert scale were distributed by using simple random sampling methods, among the total sample of 254 only 205 questioners were properly filled and returned. The study used primary data gathered using questionnaires. The data was analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics, the descriptive statistics were analyzed by percentage and frequency as well as the inferential statistics were analyzed by using correlation and regression analysis. Descriptive result shows that the implementation of corporate entrepreneurship dimensions in Wuxi Jinmao and Phillips-van Heusen (JP) textile industry were medium level which require improvement. The person correlation result shows that corporate entrepreneurship dimensions have positive and significance relationship with Perceived organizational performance. The regression result shows that all corporate entrepreneurship dimensions have positive effect and significance on Perceived organizational performance. Among five dimensions competitive aggressiveness has the highest predictor with the beta value of (β= .273) followed by proactiveness and innovativeness. Based on Summary of findings, recommendations and suggestion were provided to Wuxi Jinmao and Phillips-van Heusen (JP) textile industry managements.
