dc.description.abstract Honey from stingless bees has a higher medicinal value than honey from other bee species. They are the major pollinators among the other bees. Stingless bee honey is also known as meliponine honey, stingless bee honey (SBH), pot honey, tazma, and damma damu. This study is to assess the contamination of stingless bee honey with essential and non-essential elements. In order to evaluate the proximate analysis of honey, the concentration of samples in solution, and the concentration of samples, The health risk index of the essential elements (sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium) in the five stingless bee honey samples does not exist because the oral reference dose (RfD) of these elements was not detected in the stingless bee honey. The health risk index of Fe and Zinc indicates that the exposed population was deemed safe, which is less than one or the average of 0.00012 mg/kg in the all-stingless bee honey samples. Iron in the CR sample required (1.3 x 10-4 mg/kg) was also higher. The health risk index of lead, chromium, cadmium, cobalt, copper, and nickel has been indicating 6.2x10-5 to 1x10-4, 8.7x10-5 to 1.3x10-4, 1x10-5 to 1.2x10-5, 1.6x10-5 to 1.8x10-5, 0.0 to 1x10-5, and 1.8x10-5 to 2x10-5 mg/kg, respectively. When the results of daily intake of metals were compared to the set standards for oral reference toxicity dose, as in Dedertu, Tule Wayu, Bildam, Saba, and Chari were ,7.2x10-9 ,4.11x10- 8 ,3.1x10-6 and 6.7x10-7 mg/kg respectively. On the whole, higher essential and non-essential elements of stingless bee honey intake not affects the health of two district of borena zone in tule wayu, dedertu, bildam, chari and saba samples site (kebeles). Because the final result of this study indicate that the exposed population was to be safe which is less than 1 mg/Kg in all samples of stingless bee honey that produced two districts of borena zone en_US
