dc.description.abstract Currently , the problem of internaly displaced persons in Ethiopia is among the bigest problems that needs pro-longed and sustainable durable solution . Specifically Conflict Induced displacement is escalating years after years and reached at its highst pick . having this reality as a Countery , Ethiopia doesn‘t have either clearly provided law to govern the issues of internaly displaced persons or a singled out legaly estblished institution to treat them before , during and after displacement. This in return results the suffering of internaly displaced persons in general and internaly displaced women in particular, with double voulnerability. As the duty of governmants and international community for the rights of internal displaced persons, particularly of women, extends to their safe and sound return to their original place . this move needs high level of prepariation as the returnees are going back to the host community where they were in conflict with. That needs security , employment , education, property , health , decision making and participation of those returness, to feel their home again and feel belongingness . But this is impossible to attain if there is no law and no specific institution to protect this internaly displaced returnee women, mainly, and support them to to attain thair basic rights . There for the research recommends that there should be a law that enacted to treet this IDP women returnees and there must be clearly singled out institution to whom problems can be complined for and that treats internaly displaced persons in general and internaly displaced women in particular . en_US
