dc.description.abstract The construction of rural road infrastructure plays a vital role in shaping the socio-economic landscape of remote areas, enabling better access to markets, healthcare, education, and services. This study focuses on evaluating the impact of the Jinka-Beto-Mella road construction project on socio-economic development in the region. By employing a case study approach, a comprehensive analysis was conducted to assess the outcomes and implications of this infrastructure initiative. The research employed a mixed-methods approach, integrating quantitative data analysis and qualitative insights gathered through interviews and surveys with local communities, government officials, and stakeholders. The study revealed significant positive outcomes resulting from the road construction project, including enhanced connectivity, improved access to essential services, increased trade opportunities, and economic growth within the region. Furthermore, the construction of this road has facilitated better transportation of agricultural products, fostering agricultural productivity and benefiting local farmers. Additionally, the improved accessibility has led to an increase in tourism activities, promoting cultural exchange and boosting the local economy. Socially, the road construction has enhanced community cohesion, reduced isolation, and improved access to education and healthcare facilities, thereby elevating the overall quality of life for residents in the area. The findings of this study underscore the critical importance of investing in rural road infrastructure for fostering socio-economic development in remote regions en_US
