dc.description.abstract Because Hawassa Area projects is regarded a developing area with a large number of projects anticipated to be completed in the near future for growth and transformation II, productivity is a problem of particular relevance to a developing country. The goal of this study is to look at "labor productivity & project performance measurement in the building construction business in the Hawassa area." The main goals of this research are to gain a better understanding of the factors that affect labor productivity & project performance in building construction in the Hawassa area, as well as to conduct strategic group analysis of projects using various cluster analysis methods and to provide final recommendations to the parties involved. The goals of this study will be met by a questionnaire survey and a case study in the Hawassa area, where a case study of seven projects involving three construction trades, namely steel reinforcement, masonry work, and concrete, has been undertaken. Through site observations of labor operations in the case study projects, the elements that affect construction labor productivity & project performance has been thoroughly explored. The findings of this study will be used as a recommendation for construction contracting companies to conduct labor productivity & project performance studies in their projects to improve labor productivity & project performance.
