dc.description.abstract Background: It is essential to prioritize client satisfaction during delivery service. It can prevent maternal mortality, since an indicator of quality delivery service. However, little attention is given generally in Ethiopia and particularly in the study area. As a result, this study aims to assess maternal satisfaction on delivery services and its associated factors among mothers who gave birth in public hospitals of Arbaminch Town, southern Ethiopia, 2023. Methods and material: A cross-sectional study was conducted from April 1st to May 30th, 2023, involving 406 participants who had given birth at two public hospitals in Arbaminch town. The participants were selected through systematic random sampling and were interviewed using a structured questionnaire. Epi-data 3.1 was used to enter the data, which was then exported to SPSS version 26 for analysis. A logistic regression model was fitted and used to identify factors related to the maternal satisfaction with delivery service, and statistical significance was declared at P< 0.05. Result: 406 participants were enrolled in this study yielding a response rate of 93%. About 310 (76.4%) (95% CI: 72, 81) expressed satisfaction with the delivery service. Being under the age of 20 (AOR:3.09, 95% CI: 1.32, 7.24), being between the ages of 20 35 (AOR:2.3, 95% CI: 1.17, 4.61), having a parity of one (AOR:2.28, 95% CI:1.01,5.41) and two to three (AOR:2.3,95% CI:1.09,3.71), receiving a antenatal care follow-up (AOR:3.27,95% CI:1.37,7.84), having a planned pregnancy (AOR:3.27,95% CI:1.23,8.72), and experiencing a normal maternal outcome (AOR:3.83,95% CI:1.73,8.47) were positively associated with level of maternal satisfaction. Conclusion and Recommendation: 76.4% of mothers expressed satisfaction with the delivery service in the study area. But, there is still a need for further improvement to enhance maternal satisfaction. To achieve this, targeted interventions should prioritize modifiable factors such as ANC follow-up, planned pregnancies, and improved maternal outcome. By addressing these areas, we can ensure a higher level of satisfaction among mothers. en_US
