dc.description.abstract Background; Postnatal period is the most vulnerable period of the mother and born within 24 hours after delivery. Postnatal satisfaction positively affects service utilization, which leads to increasing maternal mortality. There is limited evidence on the level of PNC satisfaction in the study area. So, the study was aimed to assess postnatal satisfaction and associated factors among postnatal mothers in ArbaMinch town, South Ethiopia Regional State. Objective: To assess postnatal care services satisfaction and associated factors among postnatal mothers in the public health facilities of Arba Minch town, South Ethiopia Regional State. Methods: A facility-based cross-sectional study was conducted among 394 systematically selected postnatal mothers from July 1 to July 30, 2023. Data were collected using Kobo collect with a structured interview-administered questionnaire. The collected data were downloaded into an excel sheet and then transferred to Statistical Package for Social Sciences version 26 for data cleaning and statistical analysis. Binary logistic regression was used to identify factors associated with postnatal care service satisfaction. Adjusted odds ratios with a 95% confidence interval were computed and interpreted accordingly. A p-value <0.05 was considered to declare a result as statistically significant. The Hosmer-Lemeshow goodness of fit test was used to check the model fitness Results: The overall magnitude of postnatal care service satisfaction among postnatal mothers was 55.6% [95%CI: 50.5%–60.2%]. Planned pregnancy (AOR=1.90, 95% CI: 1.10-3.22), Four and above antenatal care visits (AOR=1.80, 95% CI: 1.06-3.04), Spontaneous vaginal delivery (AOR=3.20, 95% CI: 1.70-6.05), institutional delivery (AOR=2.72, 95% CI: 1.30-5.71) and having companion (AOR=6.20, 95% CI: 2.00-19.00) were statistically significant with postnatal care service satisfaction. Conclusions: The magnitude of postnatal care services satisfaction was higher than the national achievements of the first health sector transformation plan (HSTP I). Planned pregnancy, four and above antenatal care visits, institutional delivery, spontaneous vaginal delivery and having companion were statistically significant with postnatal care service satisfaction. Therefore, health care sectors would give special attention to strengthen and encourage four or more antenatal care visits, planned pregnancies, vaginal delivery, institutional delivery and companion care en_US
