| dc.description.abstract | Throughout the past decades, the number of construction projects conducted at the private, corporate, and governmental sectors in Ethiopia has increased significantly. Even though, there has been a significant outcry from customers (end-users) regarding the low quality of the structures being built. As construction projects become larger and more complicated, clients are increasingly expecting greater delivery standards Today, A successful management strategy that may be used in construction to attain quality is known as total quality management. The main gaol of this study is to evaluate the total quality management implementation of construction firms in a public building project in the fafan zone Somali region, Ethiopia. To attain this goal, the study utilized a mixed research approach (semi-structured interviews, and a questionnaire survey). Descriptive statistics were used to analyze the study statistics, like frequency and percentage, mean, and standard deviations. Also, the reliability of the factors was checked by using Cronbach's alpha. The research identified eleven total quality management key factors that can support total quality management implementation and thirteen total quality management barriers that hinder total quality management implementation. Additionally, fifteen total quality management benefits, which can be gained as a result of successful implementation were also identified. Moreover, the research ranked key factors and barriers. Also, the relationship between the key success factors was done. Finally, the study proposed a total quality management implementation Framework for the Ethiopian construction industry that will guide Construction Companies in the implementation of total quality management Principles | en_US |
