dc.description.abstract Background: Health care workers are at the greatest risk of developing blood-borne diseases like hepatitis B virus, hepatitis C virus, and human Immunodeficiency virus through occupational exposure to blood and other contaminated body fluids. Occupational exposure to blood and body fluids (BBFs) continues to be the major public health problems. The problem is more devastating in developing countries like Ethiopia with poor infrastructure and health setup.
